The Yakir Collection

Larry Jackier was on his second trip to Israel when it happened; his encounter with an oil lamp from the time of Moses in the Bible, some 3500–4000 years ago. This object became the first item in what eventually blossomed into a beautiful collection of antiquities. These sacred objects, ranging from glass, ceramic, metal, and beyond, contain the stories, culture, and wisdom of the Jewish people.

With the collection numbering in the hundreds, Larry has decided to extend his collection from beyond his home into a digital experience, accessible to anyone interested in these historical artifacts. Each item has been carefully digitized into a fully rotational 3D rendering, complete with a description of its historical significance.
